The VersaStraps have a 2.5″ link spacing and are specifically designed for a larger button like the Lone Wolf stick button, Hawk Helium button, AlumiButtons from Dan O, or other attachment buttons from 1.25″ up to 2″ at it’s widest point.
VersaStraps don’t just work for sticks. They can be used anywhere an ultra strong daisy chain style strap would work. VersaStraps work very well with the Tethrd Predator Platform since the UHMWPE fiber doesn’t stretch.
VersaStraps are made of woven (not stitched) Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) fibers, commonly referred to as Dyneema or Amsteel. This is one of the strongest fibers on earth. It’s used in everything from bowstrings to body armor. We use the same fiber for the Mantis and Phantom Bridges. Hunter’s get the benefit of incredible strength without sacrificing weight (see the teency weency itty bitty weights listed below).

Strap is strong and very light weight. The bungee is great for tight pack up and no strap end flopping around.
I was disappointed with the fact I bought the Versastrap to use with my Predator. But I can not get to hold tight enough to keep the platform stable enough to hold side pressure. Even after toe hooking the platform and camming it over again. I thought I may be on. Tree to big or to small. But after trying it on 6 different trees of size and species. I was left disappoint. I love all the Tethrd products. This just came up short for me.

I wish it worked for you. There is definitely a learning curve to get it just right with the Predator. But keep at it! It will 100% work on the Predator and get VERY TIGHT. We’ve done it lots and lots and lots of times.

The learning curve to using these on my Heliums was rather quick. Considerably lighter than the original cam strap, and simpler to use. No issues at all!

Outstanding product. I use these with my Beast Sticks and they wrap up perfectly. The main reason for getting them was their length and quick setup. The 8’ gets you around so many more trees than your average strap. Highly recommend.
